As a thrifty healthcare scientist working in the NHS, I am passionate about helping people to become their best selves and take control of their lives. I started budgeting for myself as I have a real love for travel, which is not very compatible with saving money! However, I found that by saving for things well in advance, budgeting for every pound so there were no surprises at the end of the month, and keeping things fun, I could live out my dreams AND not break the bank.
